Northern Lights Chase with authentic North Norwegian Charm
Discover the beauty of the Northern Lights with a warm and personal adventure
We want you to see the Northern Lights as much as you do
With 20 years of experience chasing the Northern Lights in Tromsø, we know the area by heart. But what makes our tours unforgettable is the Northern Norwegian culture, history, and hospitality that we share along the way. We do everything we can to make your dream of seeing the Northern Lights come true.
Sometimes this means driving far into the Arctic night—even as far as Finland—if that’s where the clear skies are waiting. We chase with passion, because we want you to see the Northern Lights just as much as you want to see them.
Your evening begins with a short film about the Northern Lights, sharing both the science and the myths, so you can better understand the magic you’re about to witness.
If the weather is kind to us, we invite you to our old coastal farm, which has roots back to 1880. Here, you can step into local history and culture, with stories that connect Sami, Kven, and Tromsø’s city roots, dating back to 1794. Inside our lavvu (Sami tent), you can sit warmly sheltered as we share history, culture, and a taste of true Northern Norwegian life.
If the weather takes us elsewhere, don’t worry—we always create a cozy atmosphere wherever we go, with a warm fire, comfortable seating, hot drinks, and our famous chocolate cake (often called the best in the world).
Throughout the evening, we take professional portraits of you under the Northern Lights, all for free. We also help you with your own camera or phone settings, so you can capture your personal aurora memories.
Because the Arctic is unpredictable, there are rare nights when the weather forecast looks too poor for us to recommend going out. In such cases, we will give you two choices at pick up:
-Step off the bus before departure and receive a full refund, or Join the trip and take the chance with us (no refund if we’re unlucky).
No matter what, our promise is simple: we will always do our very best. And remember—we want you to see the Northern Lights just as much as you do.
A little friendly advice: travel insurance is always recommended in the Arctic, as some conditions—like weather and flights—are beyond anyone’s control.
