Tromsø Friluftsenter

As a small local family-run company, we give the adventures from our hearts.

For us it’s not only about “Miss Aurora”, but also about meeting people that has an impact on our soul –

the fresh smell from the sea, the peace, the sound of the river and the clear beautiful colors that surrounds us.

We are so grateful that we are able to witness the exact moment when mother nature reveals herself to our guests, in all her glory.

Welcome to the authentic Northern Norway experience!

RiB Adventure

We had a really nice and wonderful experience out on the ocean. We did not see the whales but it was so beautiful and fun. The guide Trine was superb. Higly recommended!

Citizen Science

Cetaceans include some of the largest organisms on the planet which live in a world where there are no physical boundaries to prevent them traveling vast distances. Many whale species travel these great distances from their breeding grounds to their feeding grounds and back with ease, but tracking or monitoring them is not easy due to the boarders we have put in place.

Become a Citizen scientist while on vacation.
