Highly recommend tour for nature photographers, bird watchers and people who love to admire and experience the rural coastal landscape. We pick you up from Scandic ishavshotel in our bus and go to Tromsø Museum. In the museum exhibits, we will be able to see the birds that populates the bird cliffs during summertime, and get an introduction to each species. After 3o minutes at the museum, we’ll drive to the harbor to get dressed and ready for the adventurous part of the tour. The rest of the trip goes by zodiac, stopping at various locations known for bird life and beautiful scenery.
Harbor seals are often seen popping their heads up from the water, or laying at the waterfront resting, both pups and adults. If we are lucky, we might also see the small harbor porpoises. Shags and the white-tailed eagle is a common sight in our area as well as puffins, guillemots, theists, and European storm petrels. Bring your camera, it’s the best way to create memories and take great pictures of the magnificent nature that Tromsø offers.
